Hi, I'm Maksym. I build and improve systems that sit at the intersection of engineering and business operations.

My work focuses on integrations, distributed systems, and healthcare platforms, where technical decisions directly affect revenue, workflows, and reliability at scale.

CareOps is where I write about what actually happens beyond the happy path — broken integrations, edge cases, system behavior in production, and the tradeoffs behind building reliable distributed systems.

I created CareOps to explore the challenges and lessons of building software in complex, distributed systems - especially in healthcare and other high-stakes environments. I write about the realities of delivering features, designing systems, integrating third-party services, and navigating the technical and operational tradeoffs that come with building software at scale.
